Kathy O'Marro



Hi,

My name is Kathy O'Marro and I am very excited about serving as your President of the Medical Society Alliance. It is amazing to work with such a great group of physician spouses who give so much back to our community. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Marquette University and have worked in both the recovery room and medical intensive care unit. I have been married to my husband Steve for 24 years. We have three grown children, two sons and a daughter, of whom we are extremely proud. Steve is an Infectious Disease physician with the Springfield Clinic. We have lived in Springfield for 18 years and have found it to be a wonderful place to raise a family. I recently completed the Leadership Springfield Program through the Chamber of Commerce. It was a wonderful experience. I learned about our community, developed invaluable leadership skills, and met many people who also have service as a priority in their lives. If you are not already involved in the Sangamon County Medical Society Alliance, I strongly encourage you to join us.
